Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of Yee Mee noodles
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 1/4 of a cabbage (shredded)
  • A handful of snow peas (julienned)
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon of water
  • 2 tablespoons of canola oil

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Yee Mee noodles according to the package instructions, then strain and set aside.
  2. Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat and add the canola oil.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add in the onion and garlic, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  4. Next, add in the carrot, cabbage, and snow peas, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken stock, oyster sauce, and soy sauce, and stir well.
  6. Add in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce has thickened.
  7. Lastly, add in the cooked Yee Mee noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
  8. Transfer the sizzling yee mee to a serving dish and enjoy while it's hot!
